Description
In the West Elk Mountains outside of Aspen, Colorado, beneath three 14,000-foot peaks (Maroon Peak, South Maroon Peak, and Pyramid Peak) a field of Wild Asters and Alpine Sunflowers blooms along the lakeshore of Maroon Lake. A cloudy sky above the mountains adds to the drama of this photo, which was taken with a tilt-shift lens for maximum resolution.
